During this unit of Drama, we explored what it means to be a doll. With that, we read a doll’s house, learned about story structure, met with some actors and did some acting workshops at the Goodman theatre, and saw a production of “A Wrinkle in Time”. For this unit, the project was to write a short screenplay where the objective was to continue A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibensen. My play consisted of a Quagmire, a bear scare, and a look at gender roles in 1940.

A part about this project that I really liked was choosing which historical woman to use in my play, however the most difficult part was trying to shoehorn myself into it, as a character.
